Pre-school - “Rock Solid: Building a Heart of Faith”
Our Pre-School classroom is located in the education wing, near the nursery.
“Rock Solid: Building a Heart of Faith” will lead children to discover some of the most colorful and exciting characters in the Bible.
The stories and activities are told to spark curiosity and love for the Bible and its people. Teachers and children will be traveling on the same faith journey, learning about our awesome God, and how to be faithful disciples of Jesus.
During the week, families are encouraged to talk about the lesson using the stories and activity ideas that are sent home each Sunday.

Sunday School 2010 - 2011
Kindergarten – Fifth Grade: God Alive in the World Today
Using a rotation-style curriculum, children in this age range will discover “God Alive in the World Today!” This will be accomplished by:
-- making connections between children at St. Mark’s and those in other countries
-- developing a better understanding of our place in the world, by discovering ways to share God’s love with others
-- providing activities that compliment different learning styles
-- prayer and stories from the Bible told in unique ways each week
In our rotation curriculum, we focus on the same story or concept for several weeks, which offers time for children to internalize the concepts, and offers continuity for those who can’t attend every Sunday. This style of teaching involves all five senses and the total spirit of each child.
“God Alive in the World Today” will take children on a spiritual journey to places that include: Peru -- Cuba -- Africa -- Scotland -- Mexico -- Haiti -- United States.
Intertwined with the visits to these places will be portions of the journey of Paul. We look forward to exploring with you and discovering God Alive in the World Today!
