Cathedral Gardens
Saint Mark's has extensive grounds with some wonderful landscaping. We have some very nice gardens, maintained by volunteers who do a marvelous job. We have a beautiful lawn which sweeps down from the church doors with a lovely view of Loring Park and a marvellous vista of the Minneapolis skyline. There are some magnificent old elms and lovely flowers in season!
The Biblical Herb Garden was created in 1998 by the Garden Guild of Saint Mark's. It contains herbs indigenous to the Holy Land. The garden is twenty-eight feet square and is in the shape of a Jerusalem Cross.
The beautiful flowers and plants of our many gardens provide beauty and inspiration throughout the Cathedral, a reminder of God's abundant blessings.
