Adult Programs at Saint Mark's

We believe that adulthood is just another step on the journey of spiritual growth and offer a wide range of faith based workshops, lectures, small groups, social groups, ministries, activities, classes, and discussions through our the year to provide a path that is right for you.

20s/30s -- LGBTQ -- Small Groups

20s/30s - Young Adults

Single, married, divorced, with children, without children, college students, grad students, long-time Minnesotans, and new arrivals form this great group of Saint Markans. Some participants have just entered their 20s and others have crossed the 40 line; our desire to be supportive to one another in this sometimes transitional/sometimes stable stage of our spiritual journeys is what gathers us together. As individual members of the Cathedral, we are active in all parts of Cathedral life from outreach to choirs to worship to leadership in youth and children’s programs.  As a group, our purpose is to provide both social and spiritual formation opportunities, giving us time to get to know one another, support each other, and go deeper.

Strictly Social

We enjoy getting together and getting to know each other in casual ways like through our Christmas Wine and Cheese Party in December and our very popular, often raucous, annual trivia night, Wine and Wisdom, in January. In addition, we occasionally gather for Happy Hours during the week or brunch after church. The best way to find out about these events is to contact Canon Cara to get on the 20s/30s email list.

Spiritually Centered

As much as we enjoy casual social time together, we also know that we have been called to this church in this community to develop a deeper spiritual life together. We gather for more spiritually-focused time together each Lent and each summer for more spiritually-focused time together.
